10–13 September 2026 · Florence (Tuscany), Italy

A stop on Italy’s travelling gluten-free festival, which runs thirteen dates across the country over the summer. The organisers’ own rule is the appealing part: tutto senza glutine — every food truck and every exhibitor certified, run in partnership with AIC (the Italian coeliac association). 12–13 September 2026 · Birmingham, UK — Thornborough Events

Billed as the UK’s only gluten- and dairy-free food festival: two days of discovering and sampling free-from products at Thornborough Events, King’s Norton. The same festival visits Manchester on 12–13 December 2026, with Bristol (spring) and London (summer, Woolwich Works) announced for 2027. Official site and tickets.

12 September 2026, 12:00–18:00 · Meine glutenfreie Backstube, Am Lungwitzbach 1, Glauchau (Saxony), Germany

Summer festival at Meine glutenfreie Backstube (MGB), a dedicated gluten-free bakery in Glauchau, Saxony: the bakery fires up its oven and grill and hosts a gluten-free döner food truck (Melek). Saturday 12 September 2026, 12:00 to 18:00, confirmed to us by the bakery on 6 September. Official announcement.

15 September 2026, from 5pm · Vaughan, Ontario, Canada

The Bean Sprout — a 100% gluten-free restaurant in Vaughan — hosts its first Moon Festival, a fundraiser for Celiac Canada. Free admission, with indoor dining available to buy. 17–20 September 2026 · Bolzano (South Tyrol), Italy — WaltherPark

The South Tyrol stop of Italy’s travelling gluten-free festival, at WaltherPark in Bolzano. New England’s gluten-free expo at the Game On Sports & Performance Center, 10:00–16:00 — sampling, shopping and talks, with an entirely gluten-free vendor floor. Official site and tickets.

19–20 September 2026 · Vancouver, Canada

Western Canada’s gluten-free expo returns to Canada Place in Vancouver for its second edition: vendors, sampling and a speaker line-up, aimed squarely at the gluten-free community. The same organiser brings the expo to Calgary on 13 March 2027; an Edmonton date for September 2026 is still to be announced. Official site and tickets.

24–27 September 2026 · Bologna (Emilia-Romagna), Italy

26–27 September 2026 · Weil der Stadt, Germany

A fully gluten-free autumn market near Stuttgart: 20+ stands with hearty meals, gluten-free beer and desserts on Carlo-Schmid-Platz — deliberately set apart from the town’s parallel (not gluten-free) Lukullischer Herbst food festival to reduce cross-contact. Free parking next to the market and step-free access throughout. Official details.

Sunday 27 September 2026 · Radovljica, Slovenia

Slovenia's gluten-free expo, in the old town of Radovljica. The organiser's programme for 27 September lists 25+ exhibitors, tastings and cooking demonstrations, talks on health and nutrition, a guided chocolate tasting and a children's programme. Entry is free; a wristband covers the special activities.Getting there. The site is Linhartov trg, in the centre of Radovljica, a few minutes' walk from the bus and train station — the organiser encourages public transport. If you drive, Radovljica has plenty of free parking; the Expo site and the Visit Radol'ca tourist site both publish the parking locations.The 2026 charity partner is Društvo Viljem Julijan, which supports children with rare diseases. 3 October 2026 · Mountain View County, AB, Canada

Mountain View County’s first Gluten Free Festival is an indoor, entirely gluten-free event at Hainstock Community Hall (about 10 minutes west of Olds), 10:00–18:00. Free public admission, an exclusively gluten-free and gluten-friendly vendor floor, food and drink, body-care and information for coeliacs — plus swag bags for the first 30 guests through the door. Saturday 3 October 2026 · Klundert, Netherlands

The Nederlandse Coeliakie Vereniging (NCV) runs a handful of gluten-free markets each year, and Klundert is the autumn 2026 edition. Everything on sale is gluten free, so you can taste your way along the stalls, stock up on products that are hard to find in a normal supermarket, and talk to dietitians and other coeliac families without explaining yourself first. Worth building a weekend around if you are anywhere in the southern Netherlands. Official market page.

3–4 October 2026 · Savigliano (Cuneo, Piedmont), Italy — Area AIC, Piazza del Popolo

8–11 October 2026 · Hotel Casa, Amsterdam, Netherlands

AOECS is the umbrella body that ties Europe’s national coeliac societies together — it is the organisation behind the Crossed Grain symbol and the European licensing standard. Its 38th annual conference comes to Amsterdam, hosted at Hotel Casa, with the General Assembly attached. This is primarily a meeting of associations rather than a public expo, but it is where the decisions that shape gluten-free labelling and certification across Europe actually get made. 8–11 October 2026 · Verona (Veneto), Italy — Piazza San Zeno

Saturday 10 October 2026, doors 17:00 · Hamburg, Germany — Restaurant Quintessenz, Rödingsmarkt 2

Restaurant Quintessenz at Rödingsmarkt, where Sarah bakes the gluten-free bread and pastries herself, turns its dining room into a fully gluten-free Oktoberfest for one evening: pretzels, Obatzter, Käsespätzle, Hendl, Fleischpflanzerl, Leberkäse, Schweinshaxe, Weißwurst, Kaiserschmarrn and gluten-free beer, with live music. 139 € per person including the buffet and a drinks flat (water, soft drinks, gluten-free beer, selected wines and long drinks). Tickets are personalised and limited: requests by e-mail to event@restaurant-quintessenz.de, open since 1 September 18:00; replies take two to three days. Mention further intolerances in the request so the kitchen can plan. Organised by Sarah and the Quintessenz team, the restaurant of the Fraser Suites hotel.

15–18 October 2026 · L'Aquila (Abruzzo), Italy — Auditorium Università

The Abruzzo stop of Italy’s travelling gluten-free festival, at the university auditorium in L'Aquila. 17–18 October 2026 · St. Pölten, Austria

Austria’s first gluten-free festival lands at the Konerei in St. Pölten for two days — exhibitors from several countries, workshops, live cooking and a hall full of 100% gluten-free products, run with the Österreichische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Zöliakie. The organisers told us on 9 September: regular tickets for both days are sold out. Depending on numbers on the day, a limited batch of day tickets may be released at the door on Saturday and Sunday from about 2–3 pm — not guaranteed. 17–18 October 2026 · Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, Melbourne, Australia

The second city of Coeliac Australia’s expo series, two months after Sydney and on a bigger floor at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Every product on the floor is gluten free, which means a rare weekend of browsing and tasting without reading a single label — hundreds of products, cooking demonstrations, and a kids’ programme. Saturday–Sunday, 24–25 October 2026 · Tampere-talo, Tampere, Finland

“Gluten-free life” is Keliakialiitto’s own fair — the association describes it as Finland’s largest gluten-free event — and it returns to Tampere Hall for a full weekend. Expect producers, tastings, talks and the chance to meet the Finnish coeliac community in one room. 29 October – 3 November 2026 · Scheidegg, Germany

Scheidegg’s compact autumn edition of its gluten-free programme: guided hikes with gluten-free provisions, workshops and cooking courses around the Halloween weekend — the little sibling of the summer Glutenfrei-Wochen. Official programme.

1 November 2026 · Ancaster (Hamilton), Canada

A gluten-free market day at the Ancaster Fairgrounds near Hamilton, Ontario: every vendor product is gluten free and coeliac-friendly. One honest note, straight from the organisers: the hall is a multi-use venue and not every product is certified gluten free, so read labels as you would anywhere. Sunday 10:00–16:00, CA$7 at the door. The organisers also publish a Celiac Safety Vendor Guide, so each vendor sets out its gluten-free practices and cross-contact precautions — read it (and labels) and choose to your own comfort level. 15 November 2026 · Salle La Marive, Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland

The Association Romande de la Cœliakie (ARC) puts on the French-speaking side of Switzerland’s gluten-free day, now in its second edition, at the Salle La Marive in Yverdon-les-Bains. It complements the long-running German-Swiss Zöliakie-Tagung in Zürich and is the one date in the Romandy coeliac calendar worth planning around — exhibitors, information and a chance to meet the association directly. 15 November 2026, 11am–2pm · City Place, Spring (Houston area), Texas, USA

A new gluten-free vendor market at City Place in Spring, north of Houston (1250 Lake Plaza Drive), presented by organiser Savannah Smith: three hours of gluten-free makers, sampling and shopping, free to attend. Worth knowing before you go: the organiser states that some vendors work in dedicated gluten-free kitchens while others bake under the Texas Cottage Food Law in non-certified kitchens where shared equipment may be used — so ask each stall about its kitchen, as you would anywhere. 16–19 November 2026 · Rimini, Italy

The international reference fair for gluten-free products, now running under the FoodNova umbrella alongside Lactose Free Expo at the Rimini Expo Centre. Producers from across Europe, new product launches, and a useful read on where gluten-free food is heading. Official site.

27–29 Nov & 3–6 Dec 2026 · Sasbachwalden, Germany

A Christmas market in Germany’s Black Forest where everything — Lebkuchen, waffles, cakes, sausages — is gluten free. The tenth edition runs across the first two Advent weekends — Friday to Sunday, 27–29 November, and Thursday to Sunday, 3–6 December 2026 — in the Kurpark, with gingerbread decorating for kids. For coeliacs this is the rarest thing in travel: a market where you don’t have to ask first. Official site.

Saturday 28 November 2026 · ’t Bau-huis, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium

The Vlaamse Coeliakievereniging opens the doors of ’t Bau-huis in Sint-Niklaas for its annual gluten-free winter market — the flagship date in the Flemish coeliac year and a practical one, landing just as the Christmas baking season starts. Everything on offer is gluten free, so it is a rare chance to taste before you buy and to stock the cupboard for the holidays. Association event page.

12–13 December 2026 · Manchester, UK — Bowlers Exhibition Centre (near Trafford Centre)

The Manchester stop of the UK’s gluten- and dairy-free food festival, at the BEC in Trafford Park: two days of discovering and sampling free-from products. Bristol (spring) and London (summer, Woolwich Works) follow in 2027. Official site and tickets.

12–13 December 2026 · Oberderdingen, Germany

The 4th Gluten-Free Christmas Market at Weingut Kern (Sternenfelser Straße 51, 75038 Oberderdingen), on the third Advent weekend: Saturday 12:00–21:00 and Sunday 11:00–18:00. Every food stall is exclusively gluten-free, and there’s a small artisan crafts market in the event hall for Christmas gifts — festive indulgence made gluten-free for coeliacs. Official details.

13 March 2027 · Calgary, Canada

The Gluten Free EXPO team brings its expo day to Calgary: vendors, sampling and speakers for the gluten-free community — the sister event to the Vancouver edition. Official site and tickets.

Saturday 20 March 2027 · Zwaag, Netherlands

The spring counterpart to the NCV’s autumn market, this time in Zwaag near Hoorn, north of Amsterdam. The format is the same: an entirely gluten-free market where you can taste before buying, find specialist products, and get advice from dietitians and other coeliac families. The association has already fixed the date, so you can put it in the diary early. Official market page.

17–18 April 2027 · Sinsheim, Germany

A consumer fair where everything on the floor is gluten-free: 50+ exhibitors from bakeries and breweries to cafés, nutrition advice and online shops, at the Dr.-Sieber-Halle in Sinsheim (between Heidelberg and Heilbronn). Behind it are pastry chef Jörg Hecker and the founders of the Zöliakie Austausch community, so expect it to be run by people who live this. 15–16 May 2027 · Birmingham, UK

The UK’s biggest free-from consumer show, at the NEC Birmingham: hundreds of exhibitors, expert talks and sampling across allergies and intolerances, with a strong gluten-free core. Official site.

Saturday 15 May 2027 · PVA EXPO Praha, Prague, Czechia

Run by Společnost pro bezlepkovou dietu, the Czech coeliac society, the Fórum celiaků pairs a conference programme with a gluten-free expo floor and deliberately sits on the World Coeliac Day weekend. The 21st edition drew a record 2,189 visitors, and the society announced the 22nd for 15 May 2027 at PVA EXPO Praha in its own report on the last one. One of the largest association-run coeliac events in central Europe, and an easy add-on to a Prague weekend. Organiser’s announcement.

Saturday 22 May 2027 · Zurich, Switzerland

The Swiss coeliac society IG Zöliakie holds its annual Zöliakie-Tagung at the Technopark in Zurich on Saturday, 22 May 2027 — expert talks plus an exhibition where everything on offer can be tasted and bought gluten free, a rare day of worry-free sampling. Weekly rotation until February 2027 · Rotating cities, Germany + Amsterdam

The burger chain Hans im Glück converts one restaurant at a time to fully gluten-free for a whole week: no gluten-containing ingredients in the building, separated prep areas, dedicated toasters, daily deep cleaning and coeliac-suitable buns from Munich bakery “echt jetzt” — gluten-free beer included. Coming up: Düsseldorf, Heidelberg and Berlin (20–26 July), Wiesbaden (27 July – 2 August), Saarlouis (10–16 August), then Heilbronn, Cologne, Bielefeld, Oldenburg, Recklinghausen, Munich, Amsterdam, Ulm and Braunschweig through autumn and winter, into early 2027. Denver Celiacs, the local chapter of the National Celiac Association, runs a fully gluten-free farmers market on the second Saturday of each month through October 2026 — food trucks, small producers, produce, prepared foods and crafts, 9:00–13:00 at 333 W Hampden Ave, Englewood (north parking by Chase Tower).
