About this event
Finland runs its coeliac week in week 36 rather than around World Coeliac Day, and 2026 is a milestone year: Keliakialiitto turns 50, under the theme Juhlitaan yhdessä (“let’s celebrate together”). There is no single venue: local coeliac associations put on their own gatherings across the country through the week, and the national programme includes a webinar on the decades of gluten-free living on Wednesday 2 September, 18:00–19:00 (registration closes that morning). Organising a gluten-free event, or spotted one we’re missing? The fastest way is our submit-an-event form, or send the name, dates, location and official link via our contact page or the community group. We check every entry against an official source before it goes on the list.
One last honest note: dates, venues and gluten-free arrangements change without notice. Confirm the details with the organiser before you book travel, and even at a fully gluten-free event, keep asking the usual questions about preparation and cross-contact.

Local groups and meet-ups
Coeliac societies and local groups run regular Stammtische, coffee mornings, family picnics and online meetings, from Munich and Vienna to Leeds, Calgary and New York, plus a run of Christmas meet-ups in November and December. We keep them on their own page, checked against each group’s own site: coeliac groups and meet-ups.
