About this event
Travel notice from the organiser (24 September 2026): the Ljubljana–Lesce Bled railway line is closed from 26 September to 11 October for engineering works; replacement buses run, but the journey takes longer and connections may change. On Sunday 27 September, the Expo day, the railway and the roads around Globoko are also closed between 9:00 and 13:00 while an unexploded Second World War bomb is removed. Check your connection with Slovenske železnice before you set off and allow extra time.Slovenia's gluten-free expo, in the old town of Radovljica. The organiser's programme for 27 September lists 25+ exhibitors, tastings and cooking demonstrations, talks on health and nutrition, a guided chocolate tasting and a children's programme. Entry is free; a wristband covers the special activities.Getting there. The site is Linhartov trg and the Radovljica Manor, in the centre of Radovljica, a few minutes' walk from the bus and train station; the organiser encourages public transport. If you drive, Radovljica has plenty of free parking; the Expo site and the Visit Radol'ca tourist site both publish the parking locations.The 2026 charity partner is Društvo Viljem Julijan, which supports children with rare diseases. The organiser is also running a special gluten-free lunch on 27 September in partnership with Hiša Linhart, and additional gluten-free experiences the day before, on 26 September. Organising a gluten-free event, or spotted one we’re missing? The fastest way is our submit-an-event form, or send the name, dates, location and official link via our contact page or the community group. We check every entry against an official source before it goes on the list.

Local groups and meet-ups
Coeliac societies and local groups run regular Stammtische, coffee mornings, family picnics and online meetings, from Munich and Vienna to Leeds, Calgary and New York, plus a run of Christmas meet-ups in November and December.
