No. Kamut contains gluten. Kamut is a trade name for khorasan wheat, an old type of wheat.
What to know
- EU allergen law lists khorasan wheat among the cereals containing gluten, so it has to be named and highlighted on labels.
- It’s sold as pasta, flour, flakes and puffed grains in health-food shops, often without the word wheat in the name.
