What to check
- Light and reduced-fat versions sometimes add thickeners; wheat has to be named on the label in the EU, UK and US.
- Dips and dressings made with sour cream: check the seasoning mix.
- In restaurants: the sour cream is fine, the tortilla or potato skin next to it may not be.
