No. Durum wheat contains gluten. It’s the hard wheat used for dried pasta, semolina, couscous and some breads.
What to know
- “Durum”, “semolina” and “grano duro” on a label all mean wheat.
- Pasta labelled gluten-free is made from rice, maize, buckwheat or legumes instead.
