Gluten-Free Thailand
Thai food starts from rice, rice noodles, fresh herbs, lime and chilli, so a coeliac's plate in Thailand can be a very good one. What needs your questions is the seasoning: soy sauce is normally brewed with wheat and goes into many stir-fries and marinades (more in is soy sauce gluten-free? ), and woks and frying oil are usually shared. Show the kitchen our free coeliac card in Thai and ask about the sauce in every dish.

Below are three fully gluten-free places and a short list of kitchens that offer gluten-free dishes in their own words. We read each venue’s own website or page on 27 September 2026. For everything else we track in Thailand, including the islands, see our live Thailand list and Compass.

Bangkok
LOAVES Gluten-Free Vegan Bakery (Parklane Ekkamai)
The venue’s own website: every product is vegan and 100% gluten-free. Gluten-free bread, donuts, cookies and muffins; delivery through LINE MAN and ShopeeFood.
Gluten Free Bakery Tama
The venue’s own website: all of its breads are gluten-free and it does not handle any wheat at all. Japanese-style bakes such as shiopan, croissants, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake and pizza. The shop is inside the Ekkamai Villas compound.
Earth House
The venue’s own website has a separate gluten-free dinner menu (Tuesday to Sunday from 17:00), with gluten-free bread and gluten-free pasta. The main menu is not gluten-free.
Order from the gluten-free dinner menu, say it’s coeliac disease, and ask how the fries and toasted bread are kept apart from the regular kitchen.
Indulge
The venue’s own website: the menu includes gluten-free-friendly options, the full menu is not gluten-free, and guests with coeliac disease are asked to say so when booking and again on arrival.
Gigi Ristorante
The venue’s own website: a selection of gluten-free dishes, including pasta alternatives; tell the staff about your needs when you order.
Chim Chim
The venue’s own menu (January 2026) marks gluten-free dishes with “GF”.
Veganerie Concept
The venue’s own website: everything is plant-based, with a selection of gluten-free and nut-free food; the menu labels items gluten-free or not.
Theera Healthy Bake Room
The venue’s own website: gluten-free, allergen-free and vegan bakes and meals alongside regular ones, with wheat flour replaced by rice, almond, buckwheat and tapioca flour in its gluten-free recipes. Part of a social enterprise that trains neurodivergent young people.
Regular and gluten-free bakes share this kitchen: ask which items are gluten-free today and how they are kept apart.
May Veggie Home
The venue’s own website: a 100% vegan kitchen since 2011 that also serves gluten-free food; mention your requirement to the staff when you order.
Chiang Mai
Happy Allergy Bakery
The venue’s own page: an allergen-friendly café where everything is gluten-free, with keto and vegan options. Its recent posts show gluten-free, vegan dinner rolls, ciabatta and donuts.
La Casita
The venue’s own website: nachos, tacos and enchiladas can be ordered gluten-free for a small surcharge, made with bought-in tortillas, because its homemade tortillas are not 100% gluten-free.
Ask for the gluten-free tortillas by name and check how the fryer and the tortilla griddle are shared.
Phuket
Café Glück
The venue’s own website: the menu includes vegan and gluten-free options and the kitchen is mindful of food allergies. Open daily 8:00 to 20:00.
Soul
The venue’s own website: a 100% plant-based menu with gluten-free and low-glycemic options; its cakes and ice cream are described as gluten-free. Open daily 9:00 to 21:30.
Craftist Phuket
The venue’s own website: homemade cakes and desserts baked daily, including options for gluten-free diets.
Gluten-free cakes share a bakery with regular ones here: ask which are gluten-free today and how they are stored.
Before you go
Kitchens change: menus, owners, fryers, staff. Evidence dates tell you when we last saw proof, not what is true today. Always confirm directly with the venue at the time of your visit, say explicitly that it’s coeliac disease, and trust your own questions over any listing, including ours.
