What happened
Frozen organic berry mixes sold at Aldi, Netto and Lidl across Germany are being recalled because norovirus cannot be ruled out. Frozen berries are a naturally gluten-free staple many of us keep in the freezer, so this one is worth a check β even though it has nothing to do with gluten.
Affected products (300 g, frozen):
- Aldi Süd & Aldi Nord — „Bio Beerenmischung“ — best-before 21.03.2028, 22.03.2028 or 23.03.2028
- Netto Marken-Discount — „BioBio Beerenmischung“ — best-before 26.03.2028, batch L270326B3
- Lidl — „Freshona Bio Beerenmischung“ — earlier batches in the same recall (the warning was first issued for Lidl on 17 July, then widened to Aldi and Netto)
What to do:
- Do not eat the product.
- Return it to any store for a full refund — no receipt needed.
- Keep the packaging and the batch code / best-before date.
- Manufacturer: Jütro Tiefkühlkost GmbH & Co. KG (kundenservice@juetro-tkk.de). Check the official notice for full details.
